Evolving a club general question

Some questions.

I’ve been playing for 7-8 months and finally have a 4* putter maxed out and ready to be evolved to 5*. Am I understanding correctly that I now need four other 4* putters as catalysts to do that? It’s taken me this long to get one. It could take me literally a couple of years to get 4 more.

And are there any guides to show what components are better with which clubs? I have no idea if I’ve put mine together in a way that makes sense or not.

Also, I’ve never seen any clubs other than Curvey and Vixen and yet I understand there are quite a few other higher rated clubs. How are those available?

And finally, why do I get matched vs. players with vastly superior clubs? For example—on a par 5 I needed driver, 3-wood, wedge to reach and my opponent needed only a drive and a 7 iron. And on playoff holes, the opponent could be using a 5 or 6 iron and I can’t even get close to the green with a driver. Why wouldn’t players be paired more fairly and equally?

You can use any club as long as it has same stars as the club you want to evolve.. you dont have to lvl them up to use them as a catalyst to evolve the club you want to evolve, only the club your evolving. so yes, a 3* driver/wedge/iron can be used to evolve a 3* putter into a 4*. The match and clan store putters are basically already maxxed lvl clubs, meaning you don't need to play with them to level them up to get them to the evolve stage. You just need to add the clubs and evolve them as is. Match coins that would enable you to buy the 3* putters are earned through winning matches in matchplay.. and you would need to join a clan to have access to the clan store 4* putters, you earn clan coins to buy those by participating in clan games with your team. You dont have to spend money to get better clubs, I have found all my clubs in blue epic boxes and grinded them all to 6*, it just takes time. Good luck

A couple more questions: do I need the same kind of clubs to evolve a club—four 4* putters to evolve a putter? And do I need to play the 3* club to max it out before I evolve it into being the first 4* club of the four I need to evolve my current 4* level 30 club?

I saw a broken putter in the clan store, but it required some silver coins to buy. What are those? I have none, don’t think I’ve ever had any and don’t know how they are acquired.

And is using actual money the way most people improve their clubs?

The fastest way to evolve clubs is by using broken putters as catalysts, you can get 3* putters from match store and 4* putters from the clan store. Broken putters come max level when you buy them, so for example if you want to evolve a 4* club you will need 4 other clubs of same star amount.. so after you buy it evolve your 3* broken putter to 4* with 3 other 3* clubs.. this will give you a 4* catalyst. Repeat this 4 times and hey presto.. you gonna get a new 5* club

I’m still not entirely clear: so  I need to put a lower level club in my bag and play it until  it’s evolved up to 4*, then repeat that until I have four additional 4* clubs to evolve the first one to 5*? I guess why I’m confused is that seems like it would take many, many months to do that and I would be playing with inferior clubs to my best ones while I do it.

Is that correct or am I misunderstanding something?

Hi Chuck! We understand how frustrating to Evolve a club to the next level, and we are very sorry to hear that from you. To your questions, yes, you need four (4) pieces of 4-star rating clubs to use as your Catalyst to Evolve your Club into a 5-star rating club. You may check our article regarding the Club Evolving for more information: https://perfectswing.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/47001110728-how-do-i-evolve-a-club-

We have information given in our Club tab regarding the use of our components. Just simply tap the (i) button, and you will see the three (3) pages that have a description about Club, components and, stats.

Higher clubs than Curvey and Vixens can be obtained by crafting Epic Club Boxes, Mythic Club Boxes, and Crystal craft. You can check how to determine our club types here also on our FAQ page: https://perfectswing.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/47001150651-how-are-club-names-determined-

Lastly, you will be paired with a player based on your rank or tier in Match. These players seem upgraded their clubs, or they obtained good clubs a long time ago, and they are using them to win in the Match. Again, the matchmaking in Match mode was based on your tier.
