Meteor clubs/ in app purchases

I've been frustrated and concerned for a while now about the so called random crafting of meteor clubs. Some have suggested that in app purchases make the crafting of meteor clubs easier. I've had my suspicious, you only have to play tour 3 to see how many meteor clubs are in play to well dressed players. I've just played a 1 bronze star player in tour 3. Every club he owned was a meteor. Yet he had app purchased shoes gloves, shirt, trousers,. How random does that look to you.

Clubs are only part of the puzzle. What you also need are a great set of components. In fact many will tell you and I can attest components >clubs. I play tour 3 with a full set of 5* curvys and do pretty well. So my advice grind out a awesome set of components then you don't need to be so concerned with opponents clubs, btw that's usually when game drops a nice met or prickle in your lap

Hi Joe K

Thanks for your thoughts. You are probably right over the years i've been playing i'm sure i have not made the best choices when it comes to crafting and or buying, upgrading components. And i don't seem to have much luck when it comes to crafting Mythic component boxes that only offer me lesser components than i already have.

I play with 5* prickle clubs with a 6*driver and i do ok 8500 chrystels and 1.6 M coins currently in the bank and  still play and enjoy the game. I like that its free and add free and i get that the developers are in it to make money. But as  all the other upgrades are performance based yet the possibly  most sought after item , Meteor clubs" are so called randomly gifted is odd.

I don't expect to win every game , but id like a fair and realistic game. And when you play a 1* bronze opponent with what appeared to be a full set of meteor clubs , or opponents who constantly drive the ball 400 yds and get birdies on par 4s i don't think that is realistic or fair. And suspicious when they are wearing a lot of in app purchased accessories. And mi not the only person to think this. Good luck to them but let them play in a different league and leave us "unlucky" players who have crafted many many times and still don't have meteor clubs or top notch components to play in a league of there own

I will bet that bronze guy is no noobie...probably took a long break or doesn't play many matches.  Their match star ranking doesn't really give an indication of skill, etc just shows how much people play match.  There are plenty of 3 red stars that can't hit over 300yds, just way it is developers left it wide open with no algorithm for fair matching

Again you make a good point. Playing this game has proved a good distraction during a long illness and I m still playing, unlike many of my friends who have given up. Maybe it's just coincidence that players wearing app purchased clothes have the better clubs. And I will keep grinding away but I'm still to get lucky despite crafting many many times. I guess if you think the game is fair or realistic is like beauty, in the eye of the beholder.
